HORRIBLE Customer Service

HORRIBLE customer service. In fact, there was no service. I ordered online, sent an email asking for the status, and no answer for over a week. I called up the shop, and the person didn't care about servicing me. She kept blaming her owner. I had to be forceful to leave my contact information, and still am awaiting a return call. Apparently they only want to take your money at Mitzi's and could care less about any service at all. Vote with your dollars at other locations. There are plenty of other places that care about their customers. Don't waste your time or money giving Mitzi's any business. My next stop: The Better Business Bureau.

Fab 4th

Yikes, am I behind in blogging and posting pictures. Two trips to Colorado Springs and one to Chicago, not to mention loads of pictures I found on my camera with which I haven't done a thing. Work keeps getting in the way of play.

Anyway, last night I was invited over to my friend's house for grilling kabobs and then using the firepit to make S'mores. To heck with the diet. All week, my East Coast friends have been emailing and talking about drinking Blue Moon, and I've been wanting to try the new Bud Light with lime. So I grabbed too many drinks for our informal gathering last night.

What to do with the leftovers? Well, since I'm staying home tonight, I'm marinating some hot dogs in one of the Blue Moon bottles (That will make some people gasp, but hey, our neighbors in Wisconsin marinate everything in beer), and then throw the dogs on the George Foreman.

Then, after the dogs are marinated, I'll work on marinating myself.

Happy 4th of July, y'all!

Spring in the Springs

Well, after being kept quite busy at work due to a big conference, I managed to pick up a nasty cold before heading out to Colorado Springs to help my parents move into their new townhouse. It was a lot more fun visiting them in CA, but it's nice here in the Springs.

I was able to surprise Mom on Mother's Day by coming out here to celebrate that and her turning 70. And it's been great catching up with my sister's family as well. My nephew is now taller than me (no surprise), and I can't believe how much they've all grown since I took them Trick-Or-Treating two Halloweens ago.

The weather has gone from the high 70's to the low 40's, so I can only imagine it's doing the same back in MN.

Where is Spring?!?!?
